Haunted Orange County is pleased to present a rare opportunity to only 60 lucky guests!
From sensational LA tragedies, to the Sowden House with it's ties to the Black Dahlia, to the spectral figures seen in Griffith park just behind the property. Few neighborhoods in Los Angeles have a more ghoulish history. Apart from being the prominent estate of entrepreneur and beloved filmmaker Walt Disney, the home was also the former residence of Leno and Rosemary La Bianca.
This is a rare and sought after opportunity to set foot in the beautifully preserved estate of one of the most celebrated men in entertainment history. The iconic 12-room estate combines elements of Tudor and French Normandy styles and includes four bedrooms, four-and-a-half baths, a screening room, a gym room with sleeping porch, and a pool and pool house, among other details.
The tour will begin with a brief presentation in Walt's private screening room of some of the iconic films produced while living in the home (1932 - 1950). The family would typically gather in the screening room to watch movies and dailies from Disney's studio on Hyperion Avenue just down the hill.
Following the presentation, you'll be treated to a 30 minute tour of the historic residence, listen to some of the ghost stories associated with the property and get a peek at what life was like for Walt and his family as they resided in the home for nearly two decades. Near the end of the tour you'll have a photo op in the exact spot where Walt took his iconic photo on the second story landing. At the conclusion of the tour light refreshments will be provided in the courtyard.
