Here's the situation

The Hillbergs are a family who needed to sell their house quickly cause they had recently purchased a home out of state. They found me on Zillow and they liked the fact I had over 150 great reviews from past clients on there. so, they decided to call me in to interview to have the opportunity to earn their business and help them sell their house. They were interviewing a total of three agents including me, so they could whey their options on who they thought could get the job done of selling their house fast and for top dollar. After meeting with them I showed them our marketing plan and the steps I would take to get the job done and thankfully they moved forward with me. 

A fear or worry the client had

After we purchased our retirement home in Tennessee we were a little nervous about the timing of putting our Orange County home on the market.   We didn’t want to time the market wrong and have our home sit on the market longer than if we sold our home during the summer selling season.  Robert assured us that with his marketing plan and the condition and location of our home that he would have it sold quick and he was right, our home was only on the market for 13 days before we received an amazing offer.

Our must-haves

The Hillbergs did not have a lot of must haves since they already found their retirement home in Tennessee. But, the only must-haves they did have were they needed their house sold fast and for top dollar, so they would be in a good position for their move out of state.

He really surprised us by how quickly he moved and how quickly he was able to get so much traction on our house which resulted in us getting an amazing offer so fast! 


Always make sure you do your homework, selling your home is a huge deal and not hiring the right real estate agent could cost you thousands. Make sure you have a list of all the questions that are important to you and don’t be afraid to ask those questions and get your realtor out of their comfort zone.  Interview at least 2 agents, have them show you their marketing plan and their track record.  We found that not all agents are created equal
